I have known Martie most of her life. She and my daughter grew up together. She was like a member of our household. I was her Blue Bird leader, Campfire Girl leader, and after school she was here everyday as her parents worked. About the Author
Marleen makes her home in Reno, Nevada and Duluth, Georgia with her husband Gene. She is the mother of three sons, six granddaughters, and one great grandson. She has a great love of horses and is an accomplished breeder and equestrian rider with championships in Hunter Pleasure, Western and Halter disciplines. She and her husband are the founders of the Comstock Arabian Endurance Ride in Reno, Nevada. She enjoys the mountains, spending time at the beach, writing poems and songs, and spending time with children through teaching Sunday school, the Good News Club, and leading Operation Christmas Child through her church. Her greatest love is sharing the love of Jesus.
