About the author: Born in Adams County, Pennsylvania, Freda Dehoff now resides in Marlton, New Jersey, where she is employed at the Wiley Mission. She graduated from Messiah College with a major in History and received an MA in Elementary Education at Shippensburg State College. Her love for the Lord and for children led her to teach sixteen years at Bethel Christian School. Following the Lord's leading, she began to write and found that writing brought real joy and fulfillment to her life. Freda's other writings include three poetry books--Strength for Today, Victory Every Day, and Live for Today--as well as another children's book, Renee's Promise.
