Growing up in the 1950s and 60s in rural southern Indiana. Farm life and life in small towns, working in construction and then mining well into the 21st century, military service of the author’s family, and the author’s life as a Christian.
Boring stuff if not for all of the characters encountered along the way, who are too numerous to mention here. Making sure I emphasize the characters of both the two legged and four legged varieties.
The characters are part of each of the aforementioned phases of life touched on in this work. Many of man’s struggles in this world, including the author’s, are exploited - without mercy. Good thing the author is using a pen name with all of the self-inflicted damage.
If you are looking for a technical work such as how to program computers or build space ships, you are definitely in the wrong place. If you are looking for an easy read of stories on a number of different subjects you might find amusing or moving, you may want to look inside.
So, this is a non-fiction work. Wait a minute, if this is non-fiction, what are stories about dreams doing mixed in? Dreams are real, just the contents of them you could argue are not real – well maybe except for a few of them.
As for the ending, it is as it should be – the author walking down the Path seeking our Savior, Jesus Christ.
